There are a lot of well-known names in Hollywood that had their breakthrough through Disney Channel. Celebrities like Hilary Duff, Raven and Vanessa Hudgens became well known through either a movie or a series in Disney Channel. Because of this fame and fortune that Disney could bring to aspiring actresses and singers, a lot of young hopefuls are trying to get a role in one of Disney Channel’s show.
However, getting a role in one of Disney Channel’s series or movies will not be easy. Disney Channel audition is like other auditions. There will be long waiting hours and the aspirant for a role will be tested by singing, dancing or even acting. It would all depend on the requirement for the role that the aspiring actor or actress is vying for. Because of the huge competition that a child might take before making it as one of the cast, it is important that the child has a background with singing, dancing or acting. This would help the aspirant to have an edge among its competitors.
Whenever there is a new series or new movie that Disney will produce, there is an audition that Disney is opening for the young hopefuls. Usually, the applicants are required to submit a written application stating their performances over the years. Some application forms contain recommendation from the child’s teacher in order to support the performances stated in the application form.
Because of the huge number of hopefuls, there are chances that your child will not be lucky during his or her first attempt. However, do not lose hope. Disney is conducting different sessions for auditions for actors, singers, VJs and entertainers regularly. There are stars that weren’t successful during their first attempt to join Disney. But during several tries, they were able to make it.
